(she/her)

Ana Caeiro is a Clinical Psychologist, a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses), and a Body Psychotherapist certified by the EAP – European Association for Psychotherapy. She works with adults in person in Sintra and online.

Her path is marked by a genuine curiosity about the human being. Before turning to psychology, she obtained a degree in Geography from the University of Lisbon (2003). She later completed a degree in Psychology at Universidade Lusófona (2019) and a Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology at the same institution (2023). Her training in Somatic Psychotherapy in Biosynthesis was completed at the Somatic Psychotherapy Center (CPSB, Lisbon), where she also taught.

Areas of practice include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, personal development and self-knowledge, relationships, and relational dynamics.

Her approach integrates mind and body - thought, emotion, and action - in work oriented toward self-awareness and personal growth. She works with individuals and also facilitates personal development groups.

Writing is another of her languages. She is the author of the book Life Has No Map, has contributed to the Biosynthesis Blog, and regularly shares reflections on her website. She also leads creative writing workshops and thematic workshops on personal development. Her second book is currently in progress.
